Welcome to the Lilley web site. S Lilley & Son were
founded in circa 1840 manufacturing components for
the then booming Railway industry. We subsequently
became one of the first manufacturers of brass lampholders
and lighting accessories, early in the 20th Century.
We can therefore justifiably claim to be one of the
oldest family businesses in the lighting industry.

2001 saw the merger of Colmore Pressings Ltd with
our company, which has vastly increased the range
of pressed products we are now able to offer. Colmore
Pressings are well recognised in the Lighting Industry
as a manufacturer of popular and custom-made pressings
and this will continue under our guidance.
All our products are made under our BSI EN
ISO 9001:2000 registration, which ensures our customers
